About the Role

The Project Controls Specialist will provide analytical and management support for a healthcare facility project at Mayo Clinic's Rochester, MN campus. The role involves data analysis, budget planning, problem-solving, and research, requiring the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Financials: Prepare and report on project revenue, review variances, develop profitability forecasts, review contracts and invoices, assist in workload management, oversee invoicing, and maintain financial records.
  2. Communications: Develop client relations, prepare complex reports, gather and coordinate information, maintain communication records, and develop high-level graphics and reports.
  3. Project Team: Collaborate with team members, monitor work progress, and help improve processes.
  4. Contracts: Understand contractual obligations, communicate with clients, assist in drafting contracts, perform schedule analyses, and maintain contractual records.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field; Bachelor's preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in project control activities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, PowerBI, Deltek Vision, and familiarity with scheduling applications.
  • Travel required. Professional attire for client meetings.
