Job summary

LUZCO is seeking a detail-oriented Project Controls professional to support scheduling and project coordination across electric utility projects in Morristown, NJ.

You will develop and maintain schedules in Primavera P6, collaborate with project managers, load resources, and perform quality checks to ensure on-time delivery. This role offers exposure to multiple projects and opportunities to grow within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field from an accredited program.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting project schedules, with hands-on use of Oracle Primavera P6.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Comfort working with schedules, data, and multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules in Oracle Primavera P6, typically ranging from 20 to 200 activities
• Collaborate with multiple project managers simultaneously to support projects through various phases of design and construction
• Load and manage resources within project schedules
• Perform quality checks and support reviews related to project controls deliverables
• Compare schedule data with financial information to help ensure alignment and consistency across project timelines
• Communicate with project teams to understand technical progress related to electric utility, transmission line, substation, and telecommunications projects
• Integrate schedule data with other project information using Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and other data tools
