Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Scheduler to lead CPM-based project schedules for civil and capital projects in a dynamic, client-facing environment.

You will develop schedules in Primavera P6, coordinate with multiple teams and clients, and deliver status dashboards to measure performance and keep baselines intact. This role calls for strong communication and independent contribution within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• : Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related quantitative or technical field.
• : 5+ years of scheduling, project controls, or project engineering experience supporting project management functions on construction or capital improvement projects.
• : Proficient in Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
• : Strong understanding of CPM logic theory, quantity-loading, and schedule project development fundamentals.
• : Familiarity with project lifecycle phases and construction methodologies.
• : Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• : Ability to work independently while contributing to a larger team effort.

Responsibilities

• : Develop and maintain CPM logic based, quantity-loaded project schedules used to manage workflow across the project life cycle in Primavera P6.
• : Attend and co-lead recurring internal and client project meetings to collect project status information, provide schedule updates, and support schedule coordination and planning changes.
• : Update project schedules on a weekly to bi-weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and integrity in schedule logic, activity sequencing, durations, and constraints.
• : Coordinate with internal departments and external organizations to obtain and communicate project schedule information.
• : Support the development and maintenance of work breakdown structures (WBS) and activity coding frameworks aligned with project standards.
• : Develop and maintain schedule status reports, metrics, dashboards, and executive summaries used to evaluate and measure schedule, project and program performance.
• : Monitor progress against approved baselines and key project milestones to identify variances and support schedule revisions as needed.
