Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Project Controls Planner in Austin, TX to independently manage cost and schedule deliverables for mid-complexity projects. You will support senior staff and clients with analysis, reporting, and execution of defined controls tasks.

Responsibilities include developing cost reports, tracking actuals, forecasts, and accruals, and maintaining project controls documentation, in a collaborative, matrixed project team setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 3+ years of cost or schedule management on capital projects (design, construction, testing).
• Experience in a complex, matrixed environment.
• Expertise using cost and schedule management software.

Performs independent cost and/or schedule management tasks for projects of moderate complexity. Supports senior staff and clients through analysis, reporting, and execution of defined project controls deliverables.

Essential Job Duties:

• Develop and maintain cost reports or schedules
• Track actuals, commitments, and forecast data
• Assist with accruals and reporting cycles
• Identify variances and support risk and trend analysis
• Interface with project team members to gather inputs
• Status, forecast, and analyze project schedules
• Maintain organized project controls documentation

Education/Experience/Training:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field.
• Three or more years of related experience in working as a cost or schedule management SME on capital projects, including design, construction and testing phases.
• Direct experience working on teams within a complex, matrixed environment.
• Expertise using cost and schedule management software.
• Experience within one or more of the following industries required: construction, life sciences, data centers, industrial or related technical field.
• Must possess effective communication skills - both oral and written.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $ 106,250.00 - $125,000.00
