FTI is looking for a Control Team Leader/Project Controls Manager for projects in Omaha, Nebraska. This role involves planning and executing Project Controls requirements, providing direction and coaching to a team of specialists, and collaborating with project teams across all levels.
The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree and have at least 10 years of experience in electrical contracting or MEP coordination. Additional responsibilities include developing project controls plans and analyzing variances in project performance.
The purpose of this position is to plan and execute the Project Controls requirements for a project. This role is responsible for providing technical and administrative direction, coordination, evaluation, training, and coaching to a team of Project Controls specialists. This position serves as Control Team Leader/Project Controls Manager on medium and large‑sized projects or as a Subject Manager Expert (SME) for the entire Project Controls Team. Acting as a key resource on a project team, the role will require collaboration at all levels.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: 10 years of electrical contracting experience or MEP coordination
Travel: Up to 50%
Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
