You will manage budgeting, forecasts, ETCs and EACs, coordinate with executives, PMs, contracts, and finance, and ensure cost control using Deltek CostPoint and Jira.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in business-related field, 7+ years in project controls, and strong MS Office skills; salary ranges between $150k and $165k annually,

• 7+ years of experience in project controls or planning.
• Strong knowledge of project control methodologies, cost engineering, and scheduling.
• Proficiency in Deltek CostPoint.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all project control functions including planning, tracking, analysis and reporting across the project life cycle.
• Interface with Executive staff, Directors, PMs, Contracts, Billing, Finance, and HR.
• Assists in project setup, assigning the workforce, and adding new employees into Deltek CostPoint.
• Develop Estimates to Complete (ETCs) and Estimates at Completions (EACs).
• Produce financial deliverables for internal and external use; review procedures to reduce costs and errors.
• Monitor actual costs against budgets; track utilization and bonus.
• Assist PMs with subcontract invoices and CostPoint entries.
• Assist PMs with RARs, modification requests, and funds notifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work with little supervision.
• Cost estimating and reporting, risk and issue management.
• Jira experience and MS Office/SharePoint familiarity.

Summary

E-INFOSOL LLC is seeking a highly motivated Project Controls Manager to be a full-time employee in Washington, DC to join our innovative and customer solutions focused team.

Job Description

As a Project Control Manager, candidates will help E-INFOSOL with accounting, finance, forecasting, and budgeting along with a proven ability to change with implementing new systems to enhance profitability and growth. The primary responsibilities include:

• Responsible for all project control functions including planning, tracking, analysis and reporting across the project life cycle. Projects may vary in size, complexity, and contract type (i.e. Cost Reimbursable, Firm Fixed Price, Time & Material, etc.).
• Interface with team members of the corporate staff to include Executive staff, Directors, Program/Project Managers (PMs), Contracts, Billing, Finance, and Human Resources.
• Assists in project setup, assigning the workforce, and adding new employees into Deltek CostPoint system.
• Develop Estimates to Complete (ETCs) and Estimates at Completions (EACs). Works closely with PMs to review current project financial status and project future performance. Responsible for monitoring cost and schedule performance and performs related analyses.
• Produce financial deliverables for both internal and external use. These can be weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Help develop and review procedures, processes, and products to identify possible improvements to better support customer needs and reduce costs and errors.
• Financial support includes funding analysis, monthly expenditure analysis, cost variance analyses, historical financials, track current task spending and commitments, burn rates and forecast future trends. Monitoring actual costs against budgets . Monitor and provide status on utilization and Bonus tracking.
• Assist PMs with all purchase requests, validate subcontract invoices against purchase orders, and track all subcontract efforts including monthly reports. Enter subcontractor invoices into Costpoint.
• Assist PMs with Risk Authorization Requests (RARs), modification requests, and limitation of funds notifications. Monitor and help manage at-risk and suspense related costs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with little or no direct supervision with excellent time management skills.
• Cost estimating and reporting, risk and issue management, etc.
• Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and SharePoint (user).
• Work experience with Jira .

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management , Business Administration, Business Finance or a related field of study.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in project controls or planning.
• Strong knowledge of project control methodologies, cost engineering, and scheduling.
• Proficiency in Deltek CostPoint .
