Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Manager to plan and execute project controls requirements across medium and large projects. The role leads the Control Team and collaborates with the project team to ensure cost, schedule and scope integrity.

Responsibilities include establishing baselines, tracking performance, and mentoring a team of project controls specialists on engineering contracts. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10 years of electrical contracting experience or MEP coordination.
• Travel 25-50%.
• Typical work hours 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Mon–Fri; can require other hours to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a project controls plan as part of the PEP for project execution.
• Plan and organize setup of project baseline and track against baseline regularly.
• Develop cost, schedule, and commercial baseline.
• Provide directional and coaching to a team of project controls specialists.
• Analyze variances in cost/schedule and propose mitigation plans.

The purpose of this position is to plan and execute the Project Controls requirements for a project. This role is responsible for providing technical and administrative direction, coordination, evaluation, training, and coaching to a team of Project Controls specialists. This position serves as Control Team Leader / Project Controls Manager on medium and large‑size projects or as a Subject Manager Expert for the entire Project Controls Team. Acting as a key resource on a project team, the role will require collaboration at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a project controls plan as part of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) for the project execution.
• Plan and organize the setup of project baseline in project controls system, and implement a plan to track against the baseline on a regular basis.
• Develop cost, schedule, and commercial baseline.
• Provide technical and administrative direction, coordination, evaluation, training and coaching to a team of Project Controls specialists.
• Analyze variances in cost and schedule performance against the plan, and communicate the reasons for the issuance of variance and proposed mitigation plans to Project Management.
• Supervise the implementation of Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work to be performed as defined by the contract.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience: 10 years of electrical contracting experience or MEP coordination

Travel: 25-50%

Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; however, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
