This hybrid role centers on setting up projects, monitoring budgets, forecasting costs, and ensuring cash flow accuracy while maintaining vendor and contract compliance. The position emphasizes collaboration with clients and internal teams to drive project success, efficient closeouts, and solid financial oversight.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls or cost management.
• Experience with budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
• Understanding of project setup, change orders, and invoice processing.
• Experience with vendor contracts and purchase orders.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite 3-4 days per week with at least 50% onsite after onboarding.
• Nice to have: scheduling experience.
• Scheduling experience and familiarity with project management software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in project controls or cost management roles.

JSG is seeking a Project Controls Manager for our client based in the Philadelphia PA areaThis hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to lead critical cost management functions, influence project outcomes, and collaborate closely with a forward-thinking organization on exciting projects in the central New Jersey region.As a key contributor, you’ll oversee project setup, monitor and forecast costs, manage cash flow and spend projections, and ensure vendor and contract compliance.
