As a Project Controls Specialist at MP, You Will:
  • Lead scheduling, planning, and cost management for Pharma facility construction projects.
  • Ensure alignment with industry standards (AACE, PMI) and regulatory requirements (FDA, GxP, ISO).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Drive data-driven decision-making through KPIs, forecasting, and earned value management (EVM).
Role Summary

We’re seeking Schedulers, Planners, and Cost Managers with 5–10 years of experience in Project Controls for Pharma Facility Construction. This role requires expertise in construction scheduling, cost estimation, and risk management, combined with a deep understanding of Pharma industry regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
Scheduling & Planning
  • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules (Primavera P6, MS Project) for Pharma facility construction.
  • Identify critical path activities and mitigate delays to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to align schedules with project milestones.
Cost Management
  • Lead cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting for construction projects.
  • Monitor cost performance and conduct variance analysis to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Implement earned value management (EVM) to track project health and performance.
Project Controls & Governance
  • Ensure compliance with Pharma industry standards (FDA, GxP, ISO) and project controls best practices (AACE, PMI).
  • Develop and maintain project dashboards (Power BI, Tableau) for real-time performance tracking.
  • Generate monthly/quarterly reports for stakeholders, highlighting KPIs, trends, and recommendations.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks (cost, schedule, scope).
  • Manage change requests and adapt to evolving priorities while maintaining project integrity.
Stakeholder & Communication Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project controls, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project review meetings, presenting performance data and action plans.
  • Translate technical project controls data into actionable insights for leadership.
Skills & Qualifications
  • 5–10 years in Project Controls, Scheduling, or Cost Management for Pharma facility construction.
  • Strong expertise in scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project) and cost management software.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with Pharma industry regulations (FDA, GxP, ISO) and project controls standards (AACE, PMI).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (written and verbal).
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
  • Local to Tristate, Philadelphia, or Zebulon, NC (or willingness to relocate).
