Join System One to lead project controls on critical utility infrastructure projects.
We’re hiring a Manager of Project Controls for an ongoing contract position supporting utility capital projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing team of cost analysts, schedulers, and project controls professionals—all while driving cost efficiency, schedule alignment, and performance tracking on complex infrastructure programs.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and mentor a team of project control analysts, cost engineers, and schedulers.

• Oversee project budgets, track financial performance, and deliver variance analysis.

• Develop and implement corrective actions to keep projects on budget and on schedule.

• Manage integrated cost and schedule controls using tools like Primavera P6, SAP, and Excel.

• Present cost and schedule performance reports to project managers and senior leadership.

• Support risk management and continuous improvement in project control processes.

What You Bring:

• 7+ years of experience in project controls or cost management (utilities or infrastructure preferred).

• 3+ years of team leadership experience.

• Strong knowledge of earned value management (EVM), cost forecasting, and schedule analysis.

• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and financial systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field.

• PMP, CCP, or similar certification is a plus.
