Job summary

Holder Construction seeks an Engineer to join our Project Controls team in Ashburn, VA for a full-time, in-person role. You will collect, analyze, and respond to potential changes from subcontractors, ensuring timely, accurate information and compliance with owner requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related quantitative field, with strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and respond to potential changes from subcontractors.
• Analyze data to provide tactful methods of issue resolution.
• Communicate with subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate responses.
• Understand and comply with owner requirements for receipt and submission of information.
• Review, update, and ensure accuracy of MEP manifest billing.
• Gain exposure to subcontractor cashflows and owner billing processes.
• Be mindful of company and project risk when addressing issues.
• Approach internal and external conflict with logic and maintain a calm, professional attitude.
