Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking an Engineer to join its Project Controls team on a Manassas, VA project. This is a full-time, in-person position based at the job site.

You will collect and analyze changes from subcontractors, help resolve issues, and support owner billing and cash flow processes while maintaining professional communication and risk awareness. Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field required; strong written and verbal communication and collaborative work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a quantitative-related field.
• Outstanding communication, time management, and computer skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and respond to potential changes received from subcontractors.
• Analyze data to provide tactful methods of issue resolution.
• Communicate with subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate responses.
• Understand and comply with owner requirements for receipt and submission of information.
• Review, update, and ensure accuracy of MEP manifest billing.
• Gain exposure to subcontractor cashflows and owner billing processes.
• Be mindful of company and project risk when addressing issues.
• Approach internal and external conflict with logic and maintain a calm, professional attitude.
