POSITION PURPOSE:
Manages and coordinates the entire spectrum of Project Controls activities for the EPC project, including scheduling, budgeting, estimating, risk management, reporting, contract administration, and administrative services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead development of project-specific PC execution strategies.
• Coordinate with Project Management on reporting, project control activities, and other services.
• Facilitate and oversee the risk assessment, mitigation, and contingency planning process.
• Coordinate and issue project reports, including progress, cost, and schedule.
• Ensure integration between estimating, cost control, planning/scheduling, and risk management functions.
• Develop procedures for project control activities, including budget preparation and forecasts.
• Oversee cost engineering activities, including development of cost control systems and monthly cost reporting.
• Oversee cost estimating/forecasting activities.
• Manage planning & scheduling activities, including development of project schedules and performance monitoring.
• Ensure proper tracking and confirmation of invoices.
• Oversee cash calls and forecasts to/from Finance.
• Manage contract administration activities related to change control.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Training of junior staff.
• Provide administrative procedures to projects as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree Required.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in engineering, environmental, and construction projects specializing in project controls.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in cost estimation and forecasting.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in project planning, scheduling, cost control, risk analysis, and cost estimating.

Skills and Abilities:

• Capability to lead a group in planning, scheduling, cost control, risk analysis, and cost estimating activities.
• Ability to interpret and analyze cost and schedule reports.
• Proficiency in Primavera planning/scheduling (P6) required.
• Strong technical competence in Microsoft software, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work in a diverse cultural environment.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and teambuilding skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with EcoSys preferred.
• Financial background preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position is sedentary but may require standing, walking, and communication.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Typically performed indoors in an office environment.
