About the Role

The Project Controls Bootcamp at Aegis is an incredible opportunity to learnproject controlsfrom experts in the field. This full-time program equips participants with the core skills needed for a career inproject controls. General responsibilities include:

  • Review project schedules and provide recommendations based onprojectexecution goals
  • Perform critical path analyses andidentifyschedule-related problems, recommend corrective actions
  • Conduct site walks for progress validation and prepare monthly reporting packages for the project site team
  • Develop metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks to support the program
  • Review the contractor’s progress and present it to management for decision-making
  • Communicate project status and challenges effectively
  • Review and evaluate contract change orders and amendments for impact on budget and schedule

Requirements:

  • Two to four years of construction experience in any of the following industries :
  • Airports
  • Wastewater orwater facilities
  • Pharmaceutical
  • Manufacturing
  • Government facilities (USACE/NAFAC/publicsafety)
  • Educational (K-12 schools/highereducation)
  • Commercial (officebuildings/lodging)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Passion and commitment to learning andparticipatingin the BootCamp program
  • The Bootcamp will be 50 percent of the day, and the other 50 percent will be spent working on assignments.
  • The program aims to launch you into a full-time scheduling role at Aegis.
