T1 Energy is hiring a Project Controls Engineer to support construction schedules, cost tracking, reporting, and document control for a large-scale manufacturing project in Wilmer, Texas. You’ll be an integrated part of the project engineering team, supporting engineering, procurement, and construction, reporting to the Project Control Director.

This hands-on role requires balancing rigor with speed, strong communication, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience on large capital projects in advanced manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or industrial settings.
• Hands-on experience building and managing schedules for complex projects using Primavera P6.
• Experience in cost management during construction is a plus.
• Proficiency with scheduling and cost tools (Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel).

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and manage integrated project schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Build and track project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls, including earned value and variance analysis.
• Monitor schedule and cost performance, identify risks and trends, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain change control, including schedule impacts, cost impacts, and documentation.
• Prepare executive-ready reporting on schedule health, cost status, risks, and recovery plans.
• Support contractor and vendor schedule reviews and progress validation.
• Improve project controls processes, tools, and standards as the company scales.

The Role

T1 Energy is looking to hire a Project Controls Engineer that will support in the management of construction schedules, cost tracking, reporting and document control to keep large-scale manufacturing and infrastructure projects structured and on track. You’ll work as an integrated part of the project engineering team; supporting engineering, procurement, construction. Reporting to the Project Control Director, you will be hands on in developing and maintaining project control systems to track project performance and provide data-driven insights to guide decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how projects run in the real world and knows how to balance rigor with speed.

• Experience in cost management during construction is a plus
• Proficiency with scheduling and cost tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel).
