Job summary

Saulsbury Industries in the Permian Basin project sites is seeking a project controls professional to provide cost control, reports and forecasts to project management.

You will develop and maintain weekly cost reports, labor progress and performance tracking, assist with budgeting, change management, and cost corrections.

Strong Excel skills, a degree in engineering or construction management, and the ability to travel to job sites are required; a valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project controls, cost management, trend and change management, or project management within EPC/oil & gas sectors.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain weekly project cost reports (internal & client).
• Develop and maintain weekly and monthly labor progress and performance reports and cost tracking for indirect labor, rental equipment, and subcontracts.
• Assist with change management, including change orders, budget shifts, and trends including contingency management.
• Provide timely forward-looking analysis and mitigation plans to reduce or eliminate cost impacts.
• Participate in bi-weekly or monthly reviews of all cost controls deliverables with the project team.
• Assist management in forecasting expected project costs for monthly reporting.
• Develop and maintain budgets in the progress tracking tool.
• Assist with auditing payroll coding on a weekly basis.
• Perform data audits to ensure information accuracy.
• Liaise with procurement and billing departments.
• Conduct cost corrections and understand earned value management systems.
