Job summary

The University of North Texas System Administration seeks a Project Controls Analyst to support construction project data management across the UNT System. The role maintains and updates project and financial information in CPMS and assists with data analysis and reporting.

The position provides routine technical support, ensures data quality, and delivers timely reports to support project management decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management or closely related field; five years of progressively responsible experience in construction project administration.
• Strong understanding of database management principles.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting processes.
• Knowledge of accounting and budgeting principles.
• Ability to work independently on complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide CPMS training for CPMS users system-wide.
• Support monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of software systems.
• Prepare KPI reports with graphs and advanced spreadsheets.
• Collect, model, and analyze metrics across functional areas.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases.
• Improve data integrity and reporting capacity.
• Prepare budget analyses and other internal control reports.
• Review contracts and pay applications for projects.
• Manage budget activity across multiple fund sources.
• Support CPMS development and updates.
• Follow CPMS processes across UNT System institutions.
