Airswift is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to support a major LNG project in Gregory, TX, on a 2‑year assignment under a Time‑and‑Materials contract. The analyst will monitor costs, schedules, and resources, providing timely reporting and forecasts to keep the project on budget.
Responsibilities include cost control, progress tracking, and change-order analysis, with a focus on labor, equipment, and material utilization.
Airswift is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to work with one of our major LNG clients in Gregory, TX, for a 2‑year assignment. The analyst will monitor project costs, schedules, and resource usage, and provide timely reporting for a construction power project executed under a Time‑and‑Materials contract. The role will ensure accurate tracking of labor hours, equipment at site, material costs and expenditures, confirm quantities installed, update forecasts, and analyze field progress to keep the project on budget and schedule.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, mathematics, economics, finance, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience. An MBA, PMP, and/or CCP credentials are a definite plus. A minimum of 10 continuous years of experience with an oil & gas operating company and/or engineering and construction company. Previous experience as a cost analyst on a Time‑and‑Materials construction project.
Thorough knowledge of project controls functions, processes, and procedures as they apply to project management. Comprehensive knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction costs, materials, and procedures in the oil and gas industry. Proficiency in cost‑control functions including budget development, cost analysis, forecasting, and variance reporting. Computer‑based financial and budgeting systems, PowerPoint for presentation, and strong Microsoft Excel skills for analysis and reporting. Understanding of a Time‑and‑Materials contract.
