PM2CM, Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Advisor in Pomona, California.

This hybrid-remote role requires Tuesday and Wednesday in the office/field and focuses on consolidating scope and cost, governance, and reporting for projects ranging from about 25 million to over 1 billion dollars. You will work with Project Management, Project Controls, Engineering, Finance, and Legal to prepare cost estimates, respond to regulatory requests, and develop estimation methodologies, including risk and

Formación

• Minimum of one year construction industry experience.
• Understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and tools.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and related design, data recording, and analysis software.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and soils reports.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Detail oriented and accurate.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, schedule, and manage the process for gathering scope and cost for project aggregations at each stage gate from all disciplines.
• Analyze cost estimates to verify alignment with historical benchmarks; investigate outliers with estimators from functional groups.
• Manage supporting documentation for stage gate updates and regulatory filings.
• Peer review project aggregations to validate accuracy, scope, and cost elements.
• Develop cost estimates for substations and major equipment replacements.
• Prepare scope take-off based on design specs, meeting minutes, and drawings.
• Estimate material and labor costs applying estimating standards and input into tools like SCMT and InEight.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to review estimates and obtain approvals.
• Perform variance analysis for cost estimates across project life cycle and update estimates for change requests.
