Job summary

RAM Enterprise in Elko, NV is seeking a Project Controls Administrator within our Accounting & Finance team embedded in field operations. The role focuses on establishing and maintaining financial controls across the project lifecycle, linking Operations, Accounting, and Supply Chain.

You will ensure purchasing, labor reporting, equipment tracking, and project documentation are accurate and timely, and you will support customer billings with documentation while not issuing invoices.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years in project controls, accounting, or construction administration.
  • Strong understanding of cost tracking and financial documentation.
  • Experience supporting construction, mining, or field service projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Viewpoint, Spectrum, JD Edwards, HCSS, UKG) preferred.

Responsibilities

Description

The Project Controls Administrator is an Accounting & Finance position embedded within field operations. The primary purpose of this role is to establish and maintain strong financial and administrative controls throughout the project lifecycle. This position serves as the critical link between Operations, Accounting, Supply Chain, Payroll, and Project Management by ensuring purchasing, labor reporting, equipment tracking, and project documentation are accurate, complete, and timely. The role also coordinates the information and supporting documentation Accounting needs to prepare customer billings; however, it does not prepare, process, or issue customer invoices. While this role works closely with Project Managers and Superintendents, it reports directly to the Corporate Controller to maintain consistency, accountability, and standardized project controls across all regions in support of RAM Enterprise's 'One RAM, One Way' philosophy

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in project controls, accounting, construction administration, payroll, or project administration.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, cost tracking, and financial documentation.
  • Experience supporting construction, industrial, mining, or field service projects preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Viewpoint, Spectrum, JD Edwards, HCSS, UKG, or similar) preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with field personnel, project managers, vendors, and corporate departments.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with financial and employee information.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
