Job summary

Impellam Group is seeking a contract accounting professional to develop and implement processes for tracking inventory and storage costs while supporting core accounting and project controls activities. You will help ensure project-related financial transactions are accurately recorded, monitored, and reported.

The role requires strong SAP experience, Excel expertise, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment to support month-end close and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Strong accounting background with experience supporting project-related financial activities.
• SAP experience is required.

An Engineering & Construction (E&C) Project Controls team is seeking a contract accounting professional to develop and implement processes for tracking inventory and storage costs while supporting core accounting and project controls activities. This role will help ensure project-related financial transactions are accurately recorded, monitored, and reported.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain processes for tracking inventory and storage costs.
• Prepare and post accurate journal entries.
• Complete monthly accruals and account reconciliations.
• Track and monitor invoices to support timely processing and payment.
• Support month-end close activities and financial reporting.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and document accounting procedures.

Requirements - education & experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Strong accounting background with experience supporting project-related financial activities.
• SAP experience is required.

Required skills

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Highly skilled in Excel.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-have / preferred skills

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential.
