Hyundai Engineering America is seeking a detail-oriented Project Control Specialist to support our project management efforts. You will develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for construction projects, ensuring compliance and timely completion in line with project goals.

You will monitor progress, costs, and performance, prepare reports and dashboards, and collaborate with managers and engineers to align control activities with project objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in project control or similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of construction project management and related documentation.
  • Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Control Specialist to support our project management. Primarily responsible for the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets of construction projects, ensuring compliance and timely project completion in alignment with project goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Involved in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Monitor and control project progress, costs, and performance against established baselines
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports and dashboards
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to align project control activities with project goals
  • Adhere to project standards and guidelines
  • Review and maintain compliance with government regulations and ordinances
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in project control or similar roles
  • Strong knowledge of construction project management and related documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills
Preferred
  • Good analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Professional certifications in project management or control are a plus
  • Bilingual in English and Korean preferred but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced project environment and manage multiple priorities
Additional Information
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • On‑site work required; occasional overtime or weekend work may be necessary based on project needs.

May occasionally be exposed to inclement or hazardous conditions, including but not limited to inadequate lighting, work space restrictions, and intense noises and travel; requiring moderate physical activities.
