Job summary

Diver5ify is seeking a Project Controls Manager for HV substations and data center projects in Dallas, TX. You will own budgets, forecasts (EAC/ETC), costs and margins across a portfolio of high‑voltage projects and act as a key commercial contact for clients, suppliers and subcontractors.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or similar, plus strong Excel and financial modelling skills.

• Background in project controls, cost engineering or commercial management.
• Experience on HV substation, transmission, utility or data center projects.

Responsibilities

• Own project budgets, forecasts (EAC/ETC), costs and margins across a portfolio of HV projects.
• Manage change orders, variations, claims and payments with project teams and clients.
• Support pricing, estimating and tender submissions, including bid/no-bid decisions.
• Assess commercial risk and put mitigation plans in place.
• Administer contracts and ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Report cost and commercial performance to senior leadership, reporting to the VP of Commercial.
• Build, lead and mentor a regional project controls / commercial team.
• Act as a key commercial contact for clients, suppliers and subcontractors.

Project Controls Manager – HV Substations & Data Centers Dallas, TX | Up to $150,000

I'm partnering with a global leader in high-voltage electrical engineering to hire a Project Controls (Cost) Manager for their growing US business in Dallas. My client delivers HV substations for renewable energy, data center and utility projects, which are some of the most in-demand infrastructure work in Texas right now. This is a chance to own the cost and commercial side of those projects and build a team around you as the region grows.

• Confident communicator who can negotiate and influence at all levels

Preferred Skills

• Contractor-side experience (EPC or subcontractor)
• Familiarity with standard contract forms such as AIA, ConsensusDocs or FIDIC
• Experience leading or mentoring a team
