Job summary

First Point Group is seeking a schedules professional to support control and reporting for a major semiconductor fab project in Chandler, AZ. The role involves updating schedules, coordinating with engineers, procurement, construction and subcontractors, and producing progress reports and dashboards.

On-site or hybrid work options apply as the project executes in a large-scale capital environment. The candidate will develop expertise in EPC project controls and semiconductor construction

Responsibilities

• Support project controls and scheduling activities for one of the largest advanced semiconductor fabrication projects in the U.S.
• Assist senior planners and project controls teams with development, maintenance, and reporting of integrated engineering, procurement, and construction schedules.
• Update and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 (or equivalent scheduling tools), including activities, durations, logic relationships, and progress updates.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Subcontractors, and Vendors to collect schedule updates and ensure accurate project reporting.
• Support integration of subcontractor and supplier schedules into the overall project execution plan.
• Monitor schedule performance, identify potential delays, variances, constraints, and assist with recovery planning.
• Prepare short-term lookahead schedules, progress reports, schedule dashboards, and project status updates.
• Participate in schedule review meetings, track action items, and support communication between project stakeholders.
• Develop foundational expertise in EPC project controls, semiconductor construction, and large-scale capital project execution.
