Project Overview

Fab 62 is an advanced semiconductor fabrication facility for Intel Corporation, located at Intel's Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona. The M&T team is responsible for delivering the engineering, procurement, and construction scope required to complete a leading‑edge chipmaking facility in a highly demanding environment where precision, cleanliness, schedule certainty, and coordination across thousands of craft and professional personnel are essential.

Job Summary

In this role, you will provide leadership and strategic direction for planning and scheduling across major project scopes or entire projects. You will drive schedule integration, risk‑informed planning, and data‑driven decision‑making, ensuring alignment with project execution strategy and organizational standards. You will serve as a trusted advisor to project leadership, lead complex schedule analysis efforts, and mentor planning team members to enhance overall capability.

Major Responsibilities
  • Lead development, integration, and management of complex, multi‑discipline project schedules in Primavera P6 (or equivalent), ensuring alignment with project execution strategy and key milestones.
  • Define schedule architecture, including structure, coding, and sequencing, to support effective planning, control, and reporting.
  • Establish and drive schedule integration across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and subcontractor scopes.
  • Lead advanced schedule analysis, including critical path evaluation, float consumption, productivity assessments, and trend analysis.
  • Lead identification, evaluation, and communication of schedule risks, uncertainties, and opportunities.
  • Oversee and support schedule risk analysis activities (qualitative and quantitative), including evaluation of scenario outcomes and confidence levels.
  • Develop and recommend execution strategies, mitigation plans, and recovery approaches to address schedule risks and performance gaps.
  • Provide forward‑looking insights and forecasts based on schedule performance, trends, and risk analysis to support project and management decision‑making.
  • Serve as a key interface with project leadership and, where required, client representatives on schedule strategy, status, and risk.
  • Lead preparation and delivery of executive‑level schedule reporting and presentations, distilling complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Ensure adherence to project controls procedures, scheduling standards, and best practices; drive continuous improvement and standardization across projects.
  • Mentor and guide planners/schedulers across multiple levels, supporting capability development and knowledge transfer.
Education And Experience Requirements
  • Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 10‑13 years of relevant experience or 14‑17 years of relevant work experience.
  • Industry experience in Data Center, Semi‑Conductor Fab, Technology preferred.
Required Knowledge And Skills
  • Extensive experience leading planning and scheduling efforts on large, complex EPC projects or programs.
  • Advanced expertise in Primavera P6, including schedule development, integration, analysis, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead critical path analysis, schedule risk evaluation, and scenario planning.
  • Strong understanding of project execution strategies, EPC lifecycle, and interface management across disciplines.
  • Proven ability to provide strategic insights and influence project and management decision‑making.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including engagement with senior leadership and clients.
  • Experience leading and mentoring planning teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to dynamic project conditions.
  • Experience with schedule risk analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., PRA/QSRA).
  • Familiarity with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) concepts and implementation.
  • Experience supporting development of Basis of Schedule and execution strategies.
  • Exposure to data analytics or visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
