Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY

Constellis is hiring a Project Control Analyst to be part of our dynamic team located Herndon, VA. The Junior Project Control Analyst will support project administration activities as well as assist in tracking the financial position of projects/contract/programs


RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Support processing administrative actions related to the high volume of Contract Modifications and the associated Project Setup actions

  • Support Limitation of Funds tracking to ensure internal and external stakeholders are notified when contract funding is required

  • Manage/track subcontractor funding and expenditures. Work as a liaison with the Subcontractor Administration team.

  • Support monthly review of projects and performance against budgets/cost proposals with variance explanations

  • Ensures invoices are billed in accordance with contract requirements and reconciles billings for each contract line item (CLIN) as required

  • Performs monthly financial analysis tracking key performance indicators

  • Supports monthly and/or quarterly Estimates to Complete within assigned portfolio

  • Prepares ad hoc reports as requested

  • Ability to interpret contracts, identify contract risks, implement risk mitigation procedures

  • Assist external auditors in requests for financial information

  • Work with management on internal reviews

  • Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred, or equivalent experience

  • 4 + years of experience in Accounting, Finance or other related field experience preferred

  • Experience using Deltek Costpoint to include project setup a plus

  • Knowledge of government contract types to include Firm Fixed Price, Time and Materials and Cost Reimbursable desired

  • Experience with large contracts that have multiple CLIN and revenue types desired

  • Knowledge of the processes and procedures in financial analysis

  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, motivated and able to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, proficiency in Excel is essential

  • Ability to interact and communicate, both oral and written, with individuals across the organization

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented dedicated individual with a strong work

WORKING CONDITIONS


Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday standard core hours, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
