About the role:

We are hiring on behalf of a client for a 1-year W-2 contract position. We are hiring for a Project Closeout Specialist. The Project Closeout Specialist will manage the final phases of project execution by ensuring that you accurately complete all deliverables, financials, and compliance requirements. This is an onsite role in Houston, TX and the zip code is 77002.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with field teams, engineers, and customer representatives to validate documentation, reconcile outstanding issues, and ensure a smooth transition to operations.
• Implement best practices to standardize and expedite closeout processes, reducing administrative delays.
• Ensure the successful closeout of completed projects by finalizing documentation, validating compliance with contract requirements, and reconciling financials.
• Work with the customers internal audit and project management teams to ensure all obligations are met, allowing seamless transition to operations or maintenance phases.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
