Job summary

Birdwatch is seeking independent Interior Designers for residential improvement projects. This engagement is per‑project and you will provide consultations, design development, material guidance, and coordination to move homeowners from concept to execution.

You control your schedule and operate as an independent contractor. You will deliver drawings, specifications, or documentation aligned with each engagement, and participate in site visits when applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential interior design and space planning.
• Strong communication skills with homeowners, contractors, and vendors.
• Ability to develop execution-ready design outputs and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interior design consultations for residential projects including finishes, fixtures, paint, and space planning.
• Develop design recommendations and provide drawings, specifications, and documentation as per engagement scope.
• Coordinate with homeowners and contractors to clarify design intent and manage project milestones.
