We are Making Sustainability Happen.As our new **Project/ Associate Level Air Quality Engineer or Scientist,** you will play an important role on a team whose work is essential to achieving this goal.We’re looking for a candidate who’s eager to tackle complex environmental challenges and drive innovative solutions that protect public health and the planet. Qualified candidates will have previous work experience in air quality consulting or related disciplines.**Responsibilities:*** Analyze industrial processes and operations to quantify air pollutant emissions.* Provide air quality permitting and regulatory compliance support to industrial clients in California.* Perform emissions estimate calculations to aid in permitting, emissions inventories, and annual compliance reporting.* Review federal, state, and local regulations to identify applicable requirements governing the operation of air emission sources.* Prepare air quality permit applications to obtain authorization to construct and operate air pollutant emission sources.* Manage tasks and communicate status with internal and external stakeholders.* Develop and use data management systems and tools to track compliance with permit requirements and air regulations and to prepare compliance reports.* Prepare proposals, reports and other written deliverables.* Travel to clients’ facilities for inspections and document review.* Work within quality/budget/schedule expectations and scope-specific assignments.**Working @ SLR**With us, there is no doubt you’ll grow your subject-matter expertise and industry knowledge.
