Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
  • 4–6 years related work or equivalent experience.
  • Interest in advocacy with focus on civil rights and civil liberties.
  • Proven analytical and research skills.
  • Willingness to work with leaders across the political spectrum.

Responsibilities

  • Review grant application materials and conduct initial legal due diligence for sponsorships and grants.
  • Prepare grant and sponsorship agreements, and amendments.
  • Compile and analyze grant and portfolio data for internal reviews and audits.
  • Serve as a point of contact for grantees using grants management database.
  • Engage with grantees via site visits and evaluation efforts.
  • Brainstorm methods of building political power and resiliency for diverse communities.
  • Monitor grantee developments and best practices in civil rights and community empowerment.
  • Complete other administrative grantmaking projects as requested.
