ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful candidate will be a high-level specialist serving as a Project Architect, responsible for leading all technical development and content for large or multiple smaller projects. This includes coordinating work across disciplines to ensure integrated deliverables and verifying compliance through team collaboration.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO

1. Manage the critical path process to guide the project team through all technical and production phases from pre-design to project completion.
2. Engage regularly with the Office or Project Quality Leader for project support.
3. Lead the development of technical aspects and translate them into our service instruments.
4. Work with the Project Manager to establish work and labor plans, schedules, and ensure financial and contractual compliance.
5. Participate in and contribute to the Project Risk Assessment, proactively addressing issues.
6. Assist Project Architects in developing Project Quality Plans and managing project quality including milestone reviews and technical charettes.
7. Oversee documentation strategies for each project phase.
8. Collaborate to align design aspirations with client goals, budget, schedule, and team resources.
9. Translate project design intent through technical documentation to project completion.
10. Integrate building performance and sustainable design goals into the project.
11. Monitor documentation and compliance with contractual obligations.
12. Guide and assist in Life Safety, Building, and Energy Code compliance processes.
13. Coordinate disciplines with the architectural design intent.
14. Work with the Model Manager to ensure quality in model processes and content.
15. Align contract documentation with the Project Specification Writer, verifying content and coordination.
16. Lead construction administration responsibilities, including RFI and submittal responses.
17. Supervise and train project team members, focusing on quality and standards.
18. Meet utilization targets and support office quality efforts.
19. Perform other duties as assigned.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including 5 years in construction documentation on institutional or commercial projects, and at least 3 years in construction administration on large projects.
• Experience with Healthcare projects is required.
• Experience on large, complex projects.
• Architectural Registration in the US required.
• Preferred: CDT and LEED accreditation.
• Focus on quality, knowledge of building codes, business acumen, client leadership, technical leadership, mentoring skills, and advanced discipline knowledge.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and construction management software.
