Project Architect / Senior Project Manager

Are you a design-driven architect with leadership skills and a passion for building great spaces? Chesney Morales Partners, Inc. is looking for a Project Architect or Senior Project Manager to join our growing team of creative professionals.

For over 48 years, we’ve shaped the built environment across San Antonio and the state of Texas, designing thoughtful, functional, and beautiful spaces. From cutting-edge healthcare facilities and vibrant schools to civic centers, financial institutions, and retail destinations — our work reflects the diversity of the communities we serve.

Now, we’re looking for a skilled, motivated individual to help lead that legacy forward.

Who You Are:

• A licensed (or soon-to-be licensed) Architect with a professional degree in Architecture
• You bring 8+ years of commercial project experience — ideally including medical, corporate, retail, religious, or financial projects
• You’re a natural collaborator and confident communicator, able to lead internal teams and coordinate external consultants
• You’re fluent in industry tools like AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Lumion
• You have a strong command of building codes, construction methods, and design documentation
• You can zoom out to see the big picture and zoom in to obsess over the details — all without losing momentum

What You’ll Do:

• Manage and direct projects from conceptual design through construction
• Mentor junior staff and lead interdisciplinary coordination
• Interface directly with clients, consultants, and contractors
• Translate big ideas into buildable realities
• Contribute to a creative, collaborative studio environment
