Job summary

W3Global in Portland, OR, is seeking a Project Architect with 4+ years of relevant experience who enjoys building design and delivering high-quality solutions for clients. You will contribute to commercial and light-industrial projects, coordinate design teams, develop construction documents, and assist with permitting and construction-phase oversight.

Requirements include a NAAB-accredited degree, licensure track (AXP/ARE), residency in the Portland metro area, and proficiency with Revit and

Qualifications

• NAAB-accredited degree in Architecture or equivalent is required.
• At least four years of relevant experience preparing building construction documents.
• Experience with permitting, construction administration, and coordination with consultants and clients.
• Actively working toward architectural licensure, such as through AXP and ARE.
• Must reside in or near the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan area.
• Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare building designs and architectural presentation materials.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and collaborate with other designers and engineers.
• Develop architectural plans, construction documents, and permit packages.
• Perform building renderings, space planning, code and building-envelope reviews, drafting, and detailing.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support permitting and construction administration activities.
• Contribute to client communication and project delivery.
• Manage multiple assignments across projects in a fast-paced environment.
