Project Architect | Multi-family & Commercial | ATX

An award-winning mid-sized architectural firm in Austin is seeking a talented and experienced Project Architect to join their team. This role will focus on multi-family and mixed-use projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive project leadership experience and be ready to collaborate with a team of architects, designers, and project managers.

Experience & Responsibilities:

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Professional degree from an accredited university (B.Arch or M.Arch preferred)
  • Professional registration required
  • Working knowledge of commercial building types (mixed-use experience preferred), materials, systems, and technical detailing
  • Experience in all design and construction phases, including coordination of consultant engineering work (civil, structural, MEP)
  • Proficiency in specification writing and editing
  • Proficiency in Revit, BIM 360, Architectural Desktop (ADT), and SketchUp
  • Ability to manage and mentor junior staff
  • Experience in client contact, proposal development, and contract negotiations
  • Ability to meet project schedules and budgets across all phases
  • Passionate about collaboration and empowering team members
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of standard business software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
