Job summary

EHDD is seeking a thoughtful Project Architect I in Seattle to join a forward‑facing practice that values rigorous experimentation and implementation. You will work independently on design and documentation, including development of design drawings and leading project team assignments.

You will coordinate with senior staff, plan technical documentation, manage client relationships, and mentor junior staff while contributing to a creative, inclusive office environment.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in architecture required with WA licensure.
• LEED accreditation preferred for sustainable design emphasis.
• Licensed architect with 5–10 years in design or architectural practice.
• Strong 3D visualization and ability to communicate design direction to clients.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to concept to construction documentation in collaboration with senior staff.
• Plan and execute technical documentation, coordinate with consultants and agencies.
• Perform construction administration duties: RFIs, submittals, site visits.
• Lead and mentor junior staff, maintain project team coordination.
• Develop design drawings and coordinate with project team and clients.
• Support design development, coordination, and execution of design direction.
