Job summary

SWBR is seeking a Project Architect to lead the Troy, NY team on projects up to $10M. You will coordinate architecture with engineering disciplines, manage design development, and present concepts to clients, ensuring project goals are met on time and within budget.

You will leverage your NY license and 5–10 years of experience, with proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and Illustrator, plus strong MS Office skills. Occasional site visits are expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• NYS license to practice architecture with 5–10 years of related experience.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to visit active construction sites and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal architectural team and allocate work for projects up to $10M.
• Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical engineers and outside consultants.
• Communicate design concepts to clients and owners.
• Develop and implement design processes ensuring concepts are realized.
• Oversee graphic presentations to convey design concepts to clients.
