The ideal candidate will lead projects through all phases—from beginning to end. If you are enthusiastic about architecture and have significant experience designing healing environments, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Work with a team that includes architects, engineers, interior designers, and other disciplines to plan and design a range of small- to large-scale projects with various complexities to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Meet with clients and user groups to create architectural programming that defines the scope of work and to develop preliminary project concepts.
  • Manage all phases of the design process to ensure successful delivery, which includes, (but not limited to):
    • developing and presenting design ideas and planning concepts to clients
    • coordinating design and document preparation across disciplines
    • recommending timely design adjustments to improve quality and maintain goals and objectives
    • preparing design and presentation drawings for client/project team review
    • incorporating sustainable design solutions into projects
    • understanding and integrating codes and standards
    • preparing and coordinating meeting documentation for client and consultant meetings.
    • Develop and manage project budgets and timelines.
  • Provide primary oversight for construction administration by leading day-to-day activities, including coordination with the client, consultants and contractor(s) to maintain project progress and attending on-site visits, as well as other field review and project meetings.
  • Support, oversee, and evaluate work of the team, including mentoring, providing oversight and monitoring work from others and establishing and executing project work plans and staffing requirements.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Participate in business development efforts, including occasional time outside of normal business hours to understand market trends, foster client relationships, maintain an active role in professional organizations, and supporting proposal development and interviews.
  • Suggest process improvements for the Studio.
  • Continue your professional growth through seminars and participation in professional organizations.
  • Assist in corporate engagement objectives, including community involvement, by promoting MSKTD’s reputation through good client relations and communications and fostering commitment to external and internal client service.

  • Professional Licensure: Licensed Architect (Indiana) with current registration.
  • Experience: 5-15 years of professional experience. 3 years minimum related to Healthcare
