Job summary

Gensler Denver is seeking a seasoned Project Architect to lead design and technical coordination for high‑profile data center and mission‑critical projects. You will guide projects from concept through construction, coordinating with engineers, consultants, and clients while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires a professional architecture degree, 8+ years of experience, and US licensure with Colorado licensure preferred. Revit proficiency and LEED accreditation are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture with rigorous portfolio.
• Licensed Architect (US); Colorado licensure preferred.
• 8+ years of architectural experience across building typologies; data centers a plus.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Revit experience required.
• Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and building structures.
• Public speaking and leadership of large teams.
• Ability to foster collaboration across the firm and with clients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on design projects in the Critical Facilities, including programming client needs, schematic design, and documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, fabricators, writers, and regulatory agencies to meet objectives.
• Manage client, team, and project coordination with engineering and specialty consultants.
• Mentor junior staff through project work and technical guidance.
• Lead permit submissions, plan checks, and approvals with building/planning departments.
