Job summary

ARCHITEXAS Dallas is seeking a Project Architect to begin immediately. You will lead the design development through construction documents, including regulatory reviews, and manage multiple small to medium projects with consultant coordination, design/drawings, and bidding.

Some travel and site visits are expected. Ideal candidates bring a professional architecture degree, 5–10 years of experience, a license, and proficiency in Revit (AutoCAD a plus).

Qualifications

• Professional degree in architecture required.
• Minimum 5–10 years experience working in an architectural firm.
• Licensed Architect.
• Proficiency using Revit for drawing and drafting is required. AutoCAD drafting a plus
• Competence in Sketch-up, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), MS Office and MS Project is a plus.
• Experience in field measuring and surveying
• Possesses thorough knowledge of design and construction document detailing.
• Conscientious, detail oriented, desire to take on responsibility.
• Excellent writing/communication skills.
• Interest in historic preservation a plus
• Must be willing to attend site visits. Some travel out of town will be required.
• Available for full time employment.
