Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Project Architect in Charlotte, NC to own project delivery from concept through construction documents. You’ll lead drawings production, coordinate with clients and teams, and apply codes to deliver high-quality designs for commercial and industrial projects.

Ideal candidates have strong Revit and AutoCAD skills, experience with multiple project types, and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset in a fast-paced design environment.

• Degree in Architecture required.

Responsibilities

• Lead production and coordination of architectural drawings through Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents.
• Collaborate with project managers to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Develop creative, practical design solutions for commercial and industrial projects.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Apply building codes and industry standards to produce high-quality, constructible designs.
• Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to create and manage project documentation.
• Support renovation and new construction projects from concept through completion.
• Contribute to a collaborative environment focused on design excellence and client satisfaction.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is an onsite role in uptown Charlotte, where you’ll work in a collaborative, studio-style environment using industry-leading tools like AutoCAD and Revit. The pace is fast, the work is high-impact, and deadlines matter—but so does teamwork, growth, and producing work you can be proud of.
