GE Vernova International LLC is seeking a senior technical sales and project execution professional to support large-scale energy projects across Power, Electrification, and Renewables. You will collaborate with Consulting Services and BU engineering during Pre-ITO and ITO phases, delivering reference architectures and documentation to sales teams and customers.

Serve as a member of the Projects Coordination Office (PCO) to provide sales support and integrated solution application for large-scale, cross-business energy projects spanning Power, Electrification, and Renewables segments. Work in close partnership with Consulting Services (CS) and Business Unit (BU) engineering teams during early commercial engagement (Pre-ITO) and proposal development (ITO) phases of an opportunity. Provide technical support and documents to sales teams and customers leveraging reference architectures developed by Consulting Services. Evaluate non-standard product requests and determine feasibility within CS recommended system parameters and quoting limits. Partner with Consulting Services and Business Unit engineering teams to applicate conceptual solutions, technical work scopes, and initial specifications for customer project requirements. Coordinate external resources by assessing requirements for specialized external services including TRS Compliance, Grid Testing, and Simulation Studies, and working with Consulting Services. Drive PCO Process Rigor through standardization of technical processes, tools, and templates across the enterprise to improve efficiency, quality, and knowledge sharing. Develop the overall technical execution plan in ITO across Business Units, resource allocation, and schedule tracking. Lead commissioning planning by producing Level 1 ITO commissioning execution plans, schedules, resource allocations, and readiness checklists and by working with the Planning Manager for Integrated Projects. Draft the proposed scope, division of responsibility, and preliminary risks between business units based on the reference architecture and system parameters specified by CS. Ensure adherence to the Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost standards of GE Vernova business units as well as the customer’s contractual requirements in the ITO phase. Drive a seamless transition of the opportunity to Project Management, CS, and BU engineering teams for project execution (OTR).
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or related. Ten (10) years of experience in technical sales, project execution, enterprise level projects, or multi-business projects within an engineering environment. Work experience to include: Interpreting design schematics for aeroderivative, heavy duty Gas Turbines and Steam Turbines for power generation; Energy Storage Systems, encompassing requirements definition for Inverter-Based Resources in both grid-connected and grid-islanded configurations; Reviewing customer single-line diagrams to identify implications for product sizing, system architecture, and equipment selection, directly influencing procurement decisions for transformers and switchgears; Performing cybersecurity reviews using NERC CIP (North American Electric Reliability Corporation Critical Infrastructure Protection) standards; and Cross-functional collaboration and integrated system design between geographically distributed teams.
100% remote position reporting to GE Vernova International LLC in Houston, TX. Candidate may live anywhere in the continental U.S. Approximately 20% domestic and 5% international travel required to unanticipated customer sites to provide sales support during Pre-ITO and ITO phases, assess requirements, coordinate external resources, and ensure overall technical execution of plan.
