Job description

To nourish the health and spirit of vulnerable people facing critical and life-threatening illness, by preparing and delivering medically tailored meals with love, care, and dignity.

Due to the Los Angeles fires, we are seeking immediate volunteers for both delivery and in the kitchen over the next several days. Project Angel Food is working diligently to respond to everyone and humbly ask for a little patience as we continue to schedule new volunteers. Contact [e-mail] to get started. Volunteers are the heart of Project Angel Food. We are beginning to welcome volunteers back into the kitchen, our offices, and to our events, with the safety of everyone in mind.

About Us

Project Angel Food prepares and delivers more than 1.5 million medically tailored meals each year, free of charge, to the homes of men, women, and children affected by life-threatening illnesses. Under the care of our registered dietitians, and in consultation with each client’s primary healthcare case manager, clients receive one-on-one nutritional counseling and a customized menu designed to meet the unique needs of their diagnosis, aligned with their personal dietary restrictions and preferences. Currently, the Project Angel Food kitchen creates 13 variations of each menu.
