Qualifications

  • Experience documenting business processes or coordinating workflow improvements.
  • Experience with status reporting and action tracking.
  • U.S. Citizen with current DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans and deliverables aligned with requirements and PM principles.
  • Track program deliverables, deadlines, and leadership commitments.
  • Monitor labor and procurement costs to improve efficiencies.
  • Support executive communications and timely action follow-up.
  • Document team processes and improve workflows.
  • Establish methods for tracking work, status reporting, and escalation.
  • Maintain process documentation and SOPs.
  • Identify gaps and bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare briefing materials and executive summaries for stakeholders.
  • Track program metrics, trends, and risks for status reporting.
  • Manage Cost Area Manager activities across the program.
  • Oversee travel requests and post-travel activities.
  • Ensure subcontract program effectiveness across 10+ companies.

Job description

Leidos is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the Project Analyst role to work in our San Antonio, TX office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience assisting the Integrated Defensive Cyber System mission. The ideal candidate will have experience integrating multiple project deliverables and standardizing delivery of multiple capabilities. This position is located near Lackland Air Force Base; all work is onsite.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop project plans and deliverables in alignment with identified requirements and established project management principles.
  • Track program deliverables, deadlines, and leadership commitments to ensure timely completion and accountability.
  • Ensure labor and procurement cost programs are tracked and improved for efficiencies to manage all program costs.
  • Support executive communications and ensure timely follow-through on key action items.
  • Support the design, documentation, and continuous improvement of team processes and workflows.
  • Establish consistent methods for tracking work, reporting status, and escalating issues as needed.
  • Maintain process documentation, templates, and standard operating procedures.
  • Identify gaps, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies and recommend practical process improvements.
  • Prepare briefing materials, meeting read-aheads, and executive summaries to support stakeholder communications and leadership review.
  • Track and report program metrics, trends, and risks to highlight performance status and support timely issue resolution.
  • Ensure all Cost Area Manager activities are refined and managed across the entire program.
  • Monitor and supervisor all travel requests and track to completion post travel activities.
  • Ensure the subcontract program is effective and manages 10+ companies meet contract deliverables
Basic Qualifications
  • Requires BS and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience supporting leaders, teams, or business operations.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders or executive-level staff.
  • Experience documenting business processes or coordinating workflow improvements.
  • Experience with status reporting, action tracking, and meeting support.
  • Ability to work across teams and maintain alignment on priorities, deadlines, and follow-up actions
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Current/active DoD Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with enterprise reporting tools or financial dashboards.
  • Experience working with units within 16 AF.
  • Exposure to scheduling, program execution, or operational performance tracking.

Pay Range: Pay Range $105,300.00 - $190,350.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
