  • Lead the monthly project forecasting and work-in-progress processes; review forecasts for completeness and reasonableness; and identify profitability trends, margin risk, and corrective actions.
  • Support revenue recognition calculations and ensure project accounting practices follow company policy, contractual requirements, and established accounting controls.
  • Oversee AIA, progress, unit-price, and time-and-material billing; monitor retainage, unbilled revenue, and billing backlog; and help resolve customer billing questions or disputes.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with construction accounting, ERP, reporting, and document-management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to review project financial statements and job-cost reports, identify material variances or margin erosion, and explain findings to operational leaders.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, judgment, data-accuracy, confidentiality, and deadline-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Commercial mechanical, specialty-contractor, or multi-entity construction accounting experience.
