ChenMoore, founded in 1986, is seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to support the financial success of civil engineering projects. This role partners with Project Managers to oversee setup, budgeting, billing and financial reporting through the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate brings 3–7 years in project-based accounting, experience in civil engineering or professional services, and strong Excel plus ERP experience.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of project-based accounting experience.
• Experience in civil engineering, architecture, or professional services preferred.
• Strong understanding of: Job costing and budgeting; Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Set up new projects in ERP with budgets, billing terms, and revenue methods.
• Monitor labor, expenses, and profitability; analyze variances.
• Prepare invoices and revenue recognition for progress billing.
• Support accounts receivable and collections with PMs.
