Job summary

Alston Construction is seeking a Project Accountant to manage timely and accurate project accounting for multiple area projects. You will analyze budgets, assist with change orders, and prepare owner draws and cost reports.

The role requires a degree in accounting/finance and at least five years of project accounting within construction, with CMiC proficiency and strong communication with PMs and management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project accounting experience with a construction general contractor.
• Strong analytical, budgeting and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent communication with project managers and management.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze project financial data against budgets.
• Prepare and communicate contract changes, billing and costs with PMs.
• Create owner contracts and monthly cost reports.
• Track payables, submittals and lien waivers for projects.
• Assist in project closeout and CMiC data maintenance.
