You’ll handle client billing, account coding, and reporting; leverage Excel daily and Power BI as needed to support project insights and timely financial close. Strong communication helps ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting or finance experience (project accounting preferred).
• Strong Excel skills (this role uses Excel daily).
• Examples: SUMPRODUCT, SUMIFS, XLOOKUP, INDIRECT, PowerQuery, VBA.

Responsibilities

• Client Billing & Project Support: Prepare and process customer billings (cost-plus, fixed fee, etc.).
• Accounts Payable + Job Costing: Match invoices to POs and receivers; code costs correctly.
• Excel-Based Reporting & Reconciliation: Use Excel daily to track and organize project data; build dashboards with Excel; support reconciliations and identify trends.
• Vendor Coordination: Support vendor setup and lien releases; resolve invoice/payment issues.
• Process Improvement (Supportive Focus): Help with workflow improvements and system issue escalation.
