Job summary

MG2 is seeking a collaborative Project Accountant in Seattle, WA to support the financial health of multiple projects. You will set up and close projects, manage budgets, enter contracts, track expenses, and ensure timely invoicing while partnering with project teams.

You will work with project managers and administrators to maintain projects in the accounting system, review contracts, issue invoices, and help resolve aged receivables to keep projects profitable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Business Administration or comparable experience.
• 0-3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain projects in the accounting system per firm standards.
• Review owner contracts and sub-consultant agreements to understand project scope.
• Ensure contract integrity through approved scope changes.
• Prepare client invoices during monthly billing cycle.
• Close and monitor projects and generate performance reports.
