Base pay range

$33.00/hr - $36.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit-related activities, ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit inquiries and coordination across the accounting team
• Perform project accounting tasks in alignment with internal controls and financial reporting requirements
• Review and analyze reconciliations between the General Ledger (GL) and project accounting data; identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and implement corrections
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accounting data aligns with project activities and financial expectations
• Handle large volumes of financial data, including importing and manipulating data sets in Excel
• Create summary reports by consolidating information from multiple Excel tabs into cohesive, actionable formats
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting and reconciliation activities

Requirements

• Proven experience in project accounting, preferably in a complex, multi-project environment
• Strong understanding of Work in Progress (WIP) accounting principles
• Experience managing or supporting audit processes, with the ability to work effectively with auditors and internal stakeholders
• Proficient in Excel, including data manipulation, pivot tables, and consolidating data from multiple sources
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
