Job summary

DN LLC in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced Accountant/Finance professional to manage project accounting, requisitions, and cash forecasting for construction projects. You will coordinate with Project Managers and Engineers to monitor billings, contracts, and closeouts, ensuring compliance and timely payments.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting with 4+ years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Viewpoint Spectrum or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, post and track the monthly requisitions to the owner
• Participate in project forecast updates – CTC/WIP – with Project Managers/Project Engineers
• Monitor/track any over/under billings and work with Project Manager and/or Project Engineer
• Monitor for any potential high-risk projects and work with project management for plan/resolution
• Identify potential job exposures and write-offs
• Procure to Pay – be responsible for processing subcontractor requisitions
• Ensure the subcontractor is complying with terms and conditions of the contract (i.e. insurance, lien releases, waivers, billing procedures, CPR, etc.),
• Monitor and track the cash position of the projects
• Reconciliation with Project Managers/Project Engineers for project closeout
• Responsible for the understanding of owner contracts and subcontracts regarding payment terms and required documents
• Work closely with the Project Managers, Project Engineers and Superintendents on all facets of project accounting and administration.
• Manage cash collection for the project in conjunction with the Project Manager as well as prepare Cash Forecasts.
• Participate in owner, subcontractor and project meetings as required
